Vidya, my sister, told me about an NGO that will soon come into being. Her friends are doing homework to found one Non-Government organization that would work on orphans.
One of her friends had asked her to be with them as founder. She asked me what to do.
Saying that to be social work is a good idea, but if the intention of founding the NGO is only to collect dollars in donation rather than being inspired by the feeling of service, it’s worst, I suggested her to decide on her own.
I gave examples of some NGOs that are founded by a few people—generally family members and relatives—which instead of being service motive, work only for collecting donation.
Such things suck.
